Nana Rasukan Ocean Bamboo, is a very special Sawidji creation. Its design comes from the design of Dewi Dian’s own Grandmother’s kebaya. Adapted into a modern article, for smart casual occasions. As an outer shirt, or on its own. Its a versatile piece that adds a unique touch to your own ensemble.
The materials we chose for Nana Rasukan Ocean Bamboo is 100% organic bamboo twill. The fall and drape of the fabric is delicate, simple and elegant. The accents made by the fibreglass matt buttons is really as much part of the piece as the piece itself. Simple and yet surprising and bold.
With a unique singular collar line that can be worn folded or upturned, shapes a much favourited v neck for many. The three buttons down the shirt front mimics the old tradition of applying decorative safety pins along the front of the traditional kebaya. Usually, this is a set of three.
